i'm a 12 and a half year old girl. Miley cyrus' voice matured when she was like 10!!! Alot of people say i sound like a 6 year old! I hate it!! I want to sound older....so when will my voice mature and how can i get it to mature more quickly and maybie make it sound more mature?????

Be thankful for the voice you have. Don't worry about it. Different peoples voice matures at different ages. Be thankful your not a teenage boy going through a voice change, then you could sound croaky.

People all mature at different ages. Miley Cyrus is an actress on television! I'm sure the TV makes her sound a bit different.
Not to mention, her father is THE Billy Ray Cyrus, as in the singer. Great voice. So maybe genes had something to do with it?
I totally know how you feel though. I am also 12 and a half, in 7th grade. My voice isn't that "young" sounding, but it's kind of whiny. My friends are always telling me that.
Ask your mom when her voice matured. When you get older, chances are, you're going to sound like her.

p.s. No loud screaming at, say, football games or something. Totally damages your voice!
Oh, and your voice change may not be that sudden and quick like a guy's. It changed gradually, little by little.

you're a girl. your voice does not necessarily "mature" like a guy. some women have the same voice for life. plenty of adults sound like children. try to control it, if possible by not talking softly or too loud (to keep it from squeaking). i don't know if there's anything you can really do to change this, sorry.

Don't worry, everyone matures at their own pace, some will start maturing before you, some after you. I think people stopping thinking I sound like a little girl during my mid teens, so don't worry!

Your voice will mature when it is ready. Don't sweat it. You have an entire lifetime of things to worry about. It will a work out. If not, there is a surgery to fix it for sure.

some people's voices never mature.
usually its men voices who mature, not that often to you hear about alot of girls voices changing.
