I guess this was as close to rocket science as you could get. Subtract 5 from 12. Put a blue mark on one toe. Subtract 5 from the answer in step 1. Mark another toe blue. Keep subtracting 5 from the answer until the answer is smaller than five. Each time mark another toe blue. When the answer is smaller than five you are done. Count all the blue toes and that is your answer. Use a different colour for your next question of this type.
