Now some people might make fun of you for asking this, but it really is a good question. Cows milk is made for baby cows, and Mothers milk is made for her baby.
I have 5 children and I fed them all mothers milk for as long as I could. The shortest breastfed child was only a month, the longest was 2+ years old.
Cows milk is harder for a baby to digest. Breast milk is made with exactly the stuff your baby needs.

A cow's milk has a vastly different protein/fat ratio. It is meant to grow a calf to several hundred pounds in a year or so. Human milk is specifically tailored to the nutritional needs of a human infant. Human milk changes depending on the age and other needs of each baby. Do you know how hard it would be for a human infant to get its mouth around a cow's teat?

Cow milk molecules are too big to diffuse through a human bab's body. They can be quite painful to a baby. Human milk molecules are smaller. For the first 4 days milk is actually not released, a nutrient rich fluid is instead. This fluid passes on many things to the baby that increase it's immune system.

I think its the way the proteins break down. Plus "nature" makes human milk best for the human baby. For example brain function. And cow milk best for the calf. For example cows can stand soon after birth. Human babies take quite a few months too. So while cows may need more protein for strenghth, humans need the early nutrition for smarts.

Breast milk is made for human babies and cow milk is made for baby cows. Humans babies digest their mothers' milk much better then they digest cow milk.

answer to unique question: using fact they have been inspired via being milked out a pair of times an afternoon on a customary recurring. females do no longer produce milk basically in the time of being pregnant, yet like quite a few different MAMMALS, start up lactating surprising AFTER being pregnant (or start). a girl can produce milk year-around only like a cow or goat or any lactating mammal can, if she's inspired adequate (via milking her out each and every so-usually). First question in extra archives: there is not any distinction. All mammals, human or non-human, provide milk surprising AFTER start, no count number in the event that they're domesticated or no longer. it rather is the reality that those "domesticated" women are inspired constantly via those milking machines (simulating the suckling action of their offspring) that cause them to produce milk constantly. they are able to additionally proceed milk production in the time of being pregnant, yet on condition that they've given start in the previous-hand. ALL woman mammals are able to doing this. 2nd question: confident. See above paragraphs. third question: confident. as with every woman mammals, there's a technique noted as "Weaning." it is the place no longer basically the offspring is experienced to end in line with milk, yet in addition the place the dam ceases milk production. females try this after quite a few months of breast-feeding their babies, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, cats, canines, lions, etc. all try this whilst their offspring have overgrown their desires for milk production. it is noted as Drying up. In Dairy cows, milk production is stopped via no longer milking the cow in any respect, and letting her "Dry up" for quite a few weeks, in many cases after 10 months of lactation, 2 months earlier than the start of her next calf. In pork cows, sheep, goats and pigs, drying up happens whilst the offspring are taken away (whilst they're the right age). interior the wild, drying up happens whilst the mum no longer helps her youthful to suckle.

Babies can't object to woman milk like grown ups can, so they have to deal with it and we drink cow milk instead.
