Well - you need to figure out why this field is compelling to you, but here are some thoughts - make them your own!

I want the opportunity to work with a world-class organization on cutting edge technology. I am passionate about this field and want to take every opportunity to learn as much as possible about it. I believe that my background has prepared me to make a difference to this company. I am excited about helping create new designs that will be safer/faster/more efficient.

Hmm - I've run out of steam, but hopefully that will get your juices started!

Best of luck!

You might want to look at Raes website (they are the society of aeronautical engineers).

Talk about why you want to do it, is it because you like science and building things or that you want to work with your hands. Describe a time when you did some kind of building or fixing something and the sense of achievement this gave you.

i dont wish to, if you do then maybe YOU should answer it?

interest in aeronautics and engineering?
desire for long term employment?

(btw tiggles: a apprenticeship is offered to school leavers type age, background preparing me to make a difference is generally for more senior positions. engineering apprentices will most likely learn to fix planes, not design them)
