The EU defence policy is military etc and the EU security is a combination of police and other intelligence agencies. The purpose they serve is to protect the EU from hostile action by other countries , groups and individuals.

At a guess, security is internal, defence is external. However, it should be no surprise that the eurocrats have accidently created two departments with the same fucnction if that turns out to be the case.

This is easy security policy is to kowtow to the muslims so they don't cause too much trouble. Defence is basically to holler for uncle sam if they get attacked.

europe has a different system, its attack policy is to buy nations and entice them to join its club,
its defence policy is to ravish the nation with her goods making a fortune but not buy much of there goods. everything is done by money.Thats why she hates getting involved in violent conflicts, because she is a creep and wants to stay freinds with everybod so she can buy them at a later date.
