I did mine the old fashioned way...by the signs of the moon. As crazy as it sounds by golly IT WORKS better than anything else. My aunt helped me with it and I did what she said, take it at midnight the night before the new moon, and none of my kids ever asked for a bottle after that. Mom to 3.

Cold turkey.
As long as she is interested in a sippy cup and will drink from it - just go cold turkey.
We actually had a bottle throwing away ceremony. I threw all of my son's bottles in the trash and bought him nice new sippy cups that he picked out.
It worked.
I plan on doing it again with my daughter when she is old enough!

Did you try giving your daughter a sippy cup?

I gave my son both the sippy cup & the bottle for a week-- then I stopped giving him the bottle. He accepted the sippy cup w/ no trouble @ all.

try sippy cups- and giving her the bottle only at night, but keep in mind she is still a baby and the bottle gives her comfort. my niece is nearly 3 and she is just coming off the "night" bottle.

I got my son the soft spout sippy cups called nuby.
They are the only one that he will drink from. There are other soft spout sippy cups you can try though. They seem to be much easier for babies to switch to from a bottle, then the regular sippy cups. hope this helps

Try using the cups for older kids and if that doesn't work try to put a nasty drink in the bottle so the baby will reject it.
