What I want to ask is, why is it when people think cheerleading, they usually think Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders? How come they're so much more popular than the other cheerleaders in the NFL?

because back in the day they were the hottest cheerleaders around. now a days there still hot but alot teams cheerleaders are just as hot .plus Dallas is Americas team.also my fav football team go cowboys!

I would have to say because of their unique uniforms. No other cheerleading squad wear the same type of uniforms they do. Also, the Dallas Cowboys are known as "America's Team" so cheering for this team must have some kind of tradition to it.

It is this new thing out now in the contracts of the players. They get so many free nites with the cheerleaders and get to pick a safe, non contract busting activity. That is why you never see the Pittsburgh Steelers cheerleaders, the team is much more physical and have larger attributes therefore the cheerleaders are damaged goods.

They were and still are very well promoted. Also Dallas was the first Pro team to have cheerleaders and they were the scantiest clad dancers. Sorry....Sex does sell!
