The only men that go to 'gentlemen' clubs are idiots. Period.
If your man is going to these clubs... find you a real man who wants to be a real husband.
Good luck.

Have you ever been to one with your man? I went one time and the ladies were doing a competition with other area clubs they had to put on a show with a movie theme without talking, just dancing and music and such, my favorite was the Charlie's Angel one, anyway it was like a beautiful play without the costumes. Now to answer your question they can be gentleman's clubs not just the sleazy backyard hole in the wall. Having a wife at home doesn't mean you shouldn't have entertainment so what if it isn't your cup of tea. Maybe you like the ballet or going to girly movies do you make him go with you? If so you better be returning the favor for what he likes. As long as you are giving him what he needs you don't need to be insecure about where he goes besides if he wants something on the side he is more likely to find it at work than in a gentleman's club.

It's more of a misnomer than an oxymoron.
Anyway, I am NOT saying it's right, but... most guys over 30 who go are married to a woman who whether the guy knew it or not beforehand won't do anything remotely erotic for him.
Guys in strip joints are very quiet, they drink, and they watch a woman in cute lingerie take off her top and dance seductively, and they leave depressed. Touching the girls is usually against state law, and whoring is rare, so they aren't there to 'score'. They are there to get aroused by a woman being sexy.
Women, no matter what you look like, if you did *something* erotic, sensual, sexy, feminine for your guy - I can pretty much guarantee you he'd want to come home to that and not stop at a t*tty bar.
Don't roll your eyes and think you have to install a pole in the bedroom to twirl around on - just come to bed, light a candle, put on some sexy music, and wear a matching lace set from VS. Leave your pearls and high heels on for added effect. Peel off a piece or two while you stand there. When a song is on the radio and you have asked him to put away the dishes while you clean up the sink, dance sexy for a few *seconds* - touch him, rub your leg up and down his, then leave him wanting more. When you are brushing your teeth together, grind your butt into his crotch for 5 seconds, then walk away. Teasing makes men insane and they go to t*tty bars to get teased.
Otherwise expect him to try and fulfill his longing to be aroused like that even if it's in a crappy strip joint by a woman he doesn't know. Men will think, well it's crappy but it's better than NOTHING.

There are many reasons that a man would go to a gentleman's club, take your pick: Unhappily married, no attraction to the wife, need something pretty to look at; maybe you let yourself go, realized that married with kids is not the life that we envisioned, wife complains too much, kids are ill behaved, to escape the feeling of being stuck, or to feel good about ones self; as fake as the attention may be, it is still attention that in some sense does make you feel sexually desired.
My wife fixes herself up a couple of days a week and makes me feel like I am the center of her world. She goes out of her way to show me that I am the most handsome, most appreciated man in her life - therefore, I don't need a gentleman's club for reassurance that I am a man.

In my younger days...yeah. As I got older I learned fast there was no quicker way to blow money than waste my time there. Who knows? The thrill of seeing a nude woman dance in front of you? I'm not a puritan by any stretch of the imagination but it doesn't seem to be an exciting form of entertainment. Especially if I know that there's no trip to the bedroom to make the experience memorable...know what I mean?
So...seven bucks for a lousy beer...like Bud or something because if these places sell something really good like Guinesses or Bass or Sam Adams...tack on another 3 bucks to the seven. How many singles into the G-string? So you can get a posterior wagged in your face. A lap dance? Ha! Don't make me laugh. plus...what man wants to ejaculate in his trousers in a public bar? And even if you don't...being in that particular "state" is rather uncomfortable. Which obviously is why if your hubby or boyfriend isn't too drunk to have sex you get that kiss and snuggle from him at 3AM while you're trying to sleep and he's breathing stale beer in your face and reeks of cigarette smoke.
MMmmmmmm..boy....sweet, romantic nights huh?

Well, I don’t.
But still, I can answer that in many ways, like, “for the same reason some of you girls go to the strip club as well after you are married”.
I know many women that go to the strip clubs for women. And they are all married.
I have gone to after being married to some with my friends, but is just for fun. But my Wife is ok with it, as she also has gone to clubs for women too. I personally have taken her there sometimes with her friends.
So it all depends on each person.
But of course, you will find more guys going to those places, and it has a simple explanation: we guys are very visual. So we love to just watch. As long there is not physical involved, then is ok, at least for most people I know.
I myself like to be in the action, so I rather not to go, because I can get a good show at home with my wife at anytime, she loves to do that too, and better yet, we both have lots of fun together.
That also explains why many guys don’t really care, but still they go. They just go because their friends go, so they go together to have fun.
Now, this is always as long both husband and wife agree. If one of then don’t agree (usually the wife), then you should not do it at all, at least to respect your lover’s concerns.
But if the reason is because you are having problems at home, then you are going the wrong road because it will end up with cheating and probably divorce, or at least big fights. In this case, is better to talk instead of avoiding the problems by going out to see naked dancers.

here's a thought- ever try going to one WITH your husband??? you'd find that the whole thing really is quite over-rated, and i have found that once women attend a night at a strip club with their man, they usually end up realizing its not such a big deal, and guys are just hanging out together when they go.
My wife goes with me sometimes, and sometimes i go with my friends. Yes, I love her to death, and yes, i get plenty of sex. I also do other things with my wife- we go to movies, hockey games, we golf, we play tennis...but i also do those things with my guy friends.
here's my point: rather than trying to CHANGE your man, why not engage him about it, and participate with him???
there is no one reason why men go to strip clubs. its a myriad of reasons, much the same as why women go. Maybe their situation at home sucks. maybe they are fighting. maybe the sex is bad. but those aren't automatically WHY he might go.
if its YOUR husband, don't overreact. ask to go with him. with an open mind, you might actually enjoy your night out together. and chances are, he'll think its REALLY hot that you want to go with him...

The same reason we look at other women, and watch porn. We don't think the way you do. Most men are just try to satify something in us, not looking to go outside of the marriage.

I don't go to the clubs but the answer is pretty obvious for me - not getting sex at home.

Men go for the same reason that women do. Being a bit selfish about this don't you think?
