Hi,

I live in Europe, and i am from Hyderabad, though i am also from the Andhra district of Andhra Pradesh....
Now i was wondering why people want a seperate Telangana?
Cant we all live in peace together? I mean i am from Hyderabad, n i know lot of othesr people from the Andhra district who live and work in Hyderabad. So if Hyderabad becomes Telangana then there is no other major city in Andhra that can actually fund the state. We have all developed hyderabad and worked in it, it is so bad we suddenly have to give it away to another state we arent allowed to be in, our places wont be funded, n that is a total mess...
So actually i was wondering, why do u need a seperate Telngana? n why not share Hyderabad, like Punjab n Haryana do...?
This way everyone is happy n the city we all love will continue its rapid development without any prblems...
N plz dont say that (Vizag) Vishakpatnam is a major city... :|
I think it is not fair if a seprate telangana is frmed and Hyderabad isnt Andhra

It was divided earlier not due to politics.. it was divided by the kings. Partition exsisted due to diffrent rules by Nizams, Krishnadevarayulu n so on.. n it still remains.

Since it is the biggest state in India, the present govt rules it with partiotion to handle it better.

:-)

Hmm..

1. People want separate state to get more money.
2. We all can live in peace, but politicians wont allow it.
3. Telangana is the loser in the divide definitely.
4. Yes, Hyderabad is a great loss to Andhra region.
5. But Andhra can fund itself with its cities. I doubt if Telangana can.
6. Sharing Hyderabad is impossible (only .01% chance)
7. Vizag is a big city, it has good future if separate state is given.
8. Hyderabad is not Andhra, it's true.

Don't worry. After separate state is formed, Andhra is not the loser definitely. Hyderabad will continue to have its global picture. And cities in Andhra will grow by leaps and bounds.

*Why waste 5 points asking same question in different places?*

Your reaction to the problem is conditioned by your ancestry originating from Andhra. What about a native Telangana? You hardly find a native Telangana, who is educated and articulate enough to express his views as to why he wants a separate State. There is no gainsaying the fact that this region is so economically and socially backward so as to warrant a special and concerted treatment. It is also true that in the present State of AP, the fruits of development has been cornered by the people hailing from Andhra, followed by those from Rayalaseema, although a number of CMs from Telangana had come in the past. Notwithstanding this, I must confess that I do not think that a separate statehood is not the answer for the problem. A separate State will only benefit the influential sections of the society, for garnering political power. A concerted action for the economic development of the region, a massive effort at rendering free and qualitative education to the people of Telenagana alone will help the common mass.

Dear friend... It seems you are NOT a politician!. Your feelings of UNITY was the dream of leaders like Gandhiji...
Vallabhai Patel and few others. But country was divided!
instantly with Independence. That was the beginning. After Independence... the politicians who ruled this country ..did so many harms to the Unity by creating New States on basis of Language or geographical situations and surprisingly the Congress party contributed a lot to this attitude of few imposed on the general public. The theory of divide and rule took the form of Unity in diversity...which is not achieved.
The more smaller states... More will be the chief ministers.
More interstate tug of wars on language.. water sharing...& so on.. It is a pity dear. I stayed in Punjab for 9 years..know what all happened to have common capital of Chandigarh for Haryana and Punjab. Now Telengana was promissed to the Leaders of the party insisting on that as Congress Party wanted their support in forming U.P.A govt.at the centre.
You know head of UPA is Sonia Gandhi all though head of Central Govt. is the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh?. Will they be able to keep up their promise?. Now it is late as the support of Rao group of Telengana is out of the UPA Govt!.
It is all Power Politics.... !!
