I don't think these picks will happen but these are the picks I would make

1 Raiders - Joe Thomas - as a Raiders fan I hope they pick Thomas 6'6 311 runs a 4.8 !!! drafting a QB here turns him into a Joey Harrington with a horrible OL he will suck - need to follow what the Jets did last year and beef up the OL
2 Lions - Brady Quinn - a much better pick than Russell he is overrated and will end up like Kyle Boller - having a great pro day but suck in the NFL
3 Browns - Adrian Peterson - a 1-2 punch worked for the Saints last year a Peterson - Lewis system could be just as productive
4 Bucs - Clavin Johnson - Chucky will not pass up on Johnson here
5 Cardinals - Levi Brown - also a team that needs to beef up their OL

1. JaMarcus - Assuming no trade Al Davis wants someone who can throw it down field
2. Brady Quinn - Matt Millen might be afraid to draft another Joey but Brady has the skills and hasn't slide as far as people think.
3. Joe Thomas/Gaines Adams - Cleveland has a back for now so they can take the 10 year player over Peterson's 6.
4. Calvin Johnson - No Brainer of the Draft
5. Gaines Adams/Joe Thomas - Whichever player Cleveland doesn't take will be the Cards pick.

I am not a huge college football fan, so I won't presume enough to answer the question. I just wanted to comment that I am very surpised at how many people have the Browns taking Adrian Peterson. They signed Jamal Lewis, a more than capable back coming off a season with more than 1100 yards and 9 TD's. And he's only 27, so presumably they want as more than a stopgap.

Anybody want to explain to me the thinking behing this pick?

1. Jamarcus Russell, quarterback; Raiders need everything and he will help
2. Brady Quinn, quarterback; see above, apply to Lions
3. Adrian Peterson, running back; Browns traded away their running back
4. Calvin Johnson, wide receiver; Bucs need a big-time playmaker
5. Joe Thomas, tackle; Cardinals 0-line sucked last year

This is what I would do

1 OAK Johnson - best player in draft
2 DET Peterson - would complement Jones perfectly
3 CLE Russell/Quinn - Frye is not the answer
4 TB Adams - Their ends are OLD
5 ARZ Thomas - biggest need is O-Line

This is what will happen

1 OAK - Russell
2 ARZ (from DET) - Thomas
3 CLE - Peterson
4 TB - Johnson
5 HOU (from DET) - Quinn
6 WASH - Adams
7 MIN - Anderson
8 DET - Landry
9 MIA - Branch
10 ATL- Okoye

DET will amass extra picks from ARZ who is willing to overpay for a glaring need and HOU who is scared MIN will grab their guy.
