SACHIN TENDULKAR HOLDS THE RECORD OF HIGHEST RUNS SCORED IN ALL THE WORLD CUP GAMES. HE SCORED 1732 RUNS EXCLUDING THIS 2007 WORLD CUP. IF HE SCORES 268 RUNS IN THE ONGOING WORLD HE WILL BECOME THE FIRST BATSMAN TO SCORE 2000 RUNS IN WORLD CUP HISTORY.
