I wouldnt think in the near future.

They have some human rights issues to deal with.

How many people leave China to come to America? How many people leave America to go to China?

I know more than a few couples that have adopted chinese children, but havent heard of any Americans be adopted by chinese couples.

Also, their consumption rate of raw matierals is pretty high, and at the rate they're going they will all be depleted by like 2050.

I don't see it happening in a country where the future generations consists of about 50 million men and about 11 girls. That country's become like a sausage factory. It may sound odd, but if you know there's no chance of you being married and having a wife and family of your own, let alone a chance to have sex now and then, where's your motivation to work hard and make something of yourself? Not very good morale.

In some aspects, yes. However, I don't think that they will have support from oh say 800 million people that get paid little to nothing, forced to live like peasants did over a thousand years ago, not paying their construcion workers, and the US will still be a super power.

Any country that has to hand out a 112-page general etiquette handbook,touching on personal hygiene, getting into lifts, driving, dining and making eye contact , to its people (in hopes of not embarrassing itself) eighteen months before the Olympics, and enact a "no spitting" ordinance, may have a little further to go than you think......

Probably, Intel just will build a huge factory there. All the jobs will begin to be outsourced and the only thing America will produce will be Rich Fat Corporate waste of human lives.

Of course they will - or at least be on equal footing. China is a great country with a rich history. Will be going there for my 3rd time this spring.

Probably not in my lifetime, but a few generations from now. Which means, in my opinion, Japan (my homeland) won't exist in a couple hundred years.
