Fine, but I'm pretty sure Iranian living in the US would not be thrilled about it. Again you are associating all liberals with left wing nuts....just like I could associate all conservatives with people like Jerry Fallwell or Ann Coulter....I would kick someone's azz if I saw them burning a US flag.

It's just a piece of cloth. It wouldn't bother me anymore than seeing any other instance of someone burning something in public. I'd say, "Wow, I hope they're careful and don't burn themselves or someone or something else."
Play with fire, you get burned.
As well, I'm trying to find out more about this so-called incident of burning Iran's flag in NYC two weeks ago someone mentioned -- and conveniently stated that the ACLU is representing the college against the flag-burners. Would love to see a link about that story. Can't find anything on NY Times, FOX News, New York Post, or Yahoo News...

This old lib is against burning the flag of any country just because you disagree with their policy's. Now, if they engage you in a shooting war, that's different. All's fair in love or war.

Not particularly offended, since it is not their flag, but they would say that it is not the way to promote peace and understanding in the middle east. They also might want to know why you're burning Iran's flag.

I'd feel that you were a moron. Not you specifically, the person I saw doing this but I feel that flag burning is meaningless. Why waste the time and energy?

I am a liberal, and I have burned an Iranian flag. I did it back in 1980, in protest of their human rights violations and the lack of religious tolerence by the 'I'll toke it homo meany'

as a realist I don't see the point of burning any flag.. what's accomplished? a little more smoke and you piss off a few people for at most a day... so.. it being as pointless as it is.. let people burn whatever flags they want to.. it's their right ... and it's my right not to give a crap about it.

This is a country of free speech, so I wouldn't give a rat's ***.
This type of question clearly demonstrates that conservatives do not have the intellectual capability to understand the liberal philosophy. You are always spouting false stands that you believe are liberal dogma. "Liberals love terrorists." Wrong, we don't condone what they do, we abhor it. That doesn't mean you don't try to understand where it is coming from. "Liberals hate America." Wrong, we love America. We just don't believe that it is infallible, but we do what we can to try and get it there. The list is endless.

Oh, some would be outraged! "How could we be so insensitive to another nation?" "No wonder Iranians hate America!" they would shout. "We need to look at things from the Iranian point of view" they would insist.
But burning the American flag? Some liberals see no problem at all with that...

somewhat too generalized for my flavor. i understand a large style of conservatives that are extremely enthusiastic approximately their very own ideals that they experience and a large style of Liberals that think of by each and every difficulty, yet in an fairly distinctive way than the conservatives. regrettably politics has become extra of a private battleground of morals and private ideals, than on authentic matters. what's interior the suited interest of the rustic or people in contact interior the matters, extremely than the politicians telling us what's suited based upon their very own ideals or that in the time of their party. Our founding fathers might might desire to be ill on the belief-approximately what our us of a's political technique has become. Sorry, somewhat extra effective than what you asked for, inspite of the incontrovertible fact that it mandatory to be stated.
