I'm trying to come up with some good ideas, good places to go, things to do. Good/fancy italian resturants. Some form of entertainment/scenic place in or near portland, oregon or vancouver, wa. Thanks for the ideas

The Chinese Zen Garden is a quiet place to wander around and be sweet with each other, however, it is a bit expensive at $7 a person.
My favorite thing is to walk along the river or take a ride on that river ferry up and down the river. The ferry is very romantic and they have great food and dancing.
You can also drive out the Cannon Beach and walk along the beach. That is really romantic, too.
The Greek Cuisina is a great restaurant to go to. It isn't necessarily quiet and romantic, but it is a lot of fun and has fantastic food.
Hawthorne street has a lot of cute little cafes all along it. My favorite is Cup and Saucer. It is a little hole-in-the-wall kind of place but the food is outstanding and so are the prices.
You could always do the movie thing. Love and Lyrics is a sweet romantic comedy. My father-in-law liked it if that helps any.
I personally like going to the paint your own pottery places. It is a great place to talk and make something cool for each other.

I've heard Iorio Restaurant is really romantic, so that might be a restaurant to make a reservation at.

Take a drive out to Mt. Hood, it is romantic.
