Is she also big enough to wear a adults small? (My daughter is autistic and it irritates the day lights out of her to go shopping; so I was hoping to get a size that might work the first time so we don't have too big of a fitting room fight.) :)

Try an S or M for shirts and try a size 2 or 4 for pants Juniors clothing is always cut smaller, so to be safe get a size bigger.

Girls Size 14

I can sometimes fit into girls shirts that size, however, pants are a different story. I have long legs, and girls sizes just don't cut it. Unfortunately, because there is no standard between designers when they cut a garment, this is going to be a little difficult for you to do. If she is going to be accompanying you on the first trip I would pick out maybe 3 or 4 jeans ranging in size. I doubt that she will be bigger that a 4 or 5. If she won't be with you, then buy a size 3 and take it from there. If its too big, go with a 1/2 depending on how big (and vice versa if its too small). Once you figure out what size she is, you can either stick with that size and do your own shopping, or (since she's not into shopping), she may be interested in on-line shopping (forever21.com and such...). Shirts should be easier (small, medium, large). You didn't mention her age, but depending on how old she, if she already went through puberty and has "finished" growing, I would definitely recommend at least one shopping trip with the 2 of you to get the correct sizes and then either you can continue to shop for her or she can do on-line shopping.

A medium or large in juniors, I think she would fit into an adult small. I wear a juniors medium/large top(10-13) and have fit into a girls 14/16 top. I hope that helps you some.

My daughter is the same size and we have had the best luck with a junior size 3, sometimes a 1. and go for the short rather than the regular length unless your daughter is particularly tall. Good luck!

a three(3) in juniors would work sometimes a five(5) if you want the clothes loose. large ones(1) work too but, they tend to be too tight in the thighs. a x-small in womens would work.womens clothes are sewn differently so, they will not fit the same. If you choose to buy juniors you have to remember that the way juniors clothes are made, are for more slim, small girls, so getting a bigger size would be the best. I hope I helped.

Mu daughter is the same size and I just started buying her clothes in the Junior department. It took me a minute to figure it out but I got it down now. It size 8. Depending on the kind of pants you can buy a 9 but for the most part size 8 is the way to go.
