Ok, this is circular motion, the angle is 5.5 radians, and the time is 1.6 seconds.

If there was a constant angular acceleration, we can use the formula :

angle / time = (wo + wf) / 2

5.5 / 2.6 = 0 + wo / 2

wo = 4.23 rad/s

That was the initial angular velocity before braking
