It really doesn't matter since you tan for hours after the actual tanning. That is why you will notice your skin getting darker even hours after tanning. Happy tanning :)

I'm assuming you mean a tanning bed? If that's the case, there's no reason why you can't shower immediately. It's not a topical tanning cream that would need to absorb into your skin. The only difference between a tanning bed tan and the real sun, is that the bed gives you a quick tan that doesn't last that long. It's still UV rays. If you want a good tan, go to the tanning salon until you're fairly dark--and then go in the sun a couple of times.

My dad used to tan for a skin condition. If you use a lotion after tanning. The dermatologist told him wait anywhere from 45 min to 2 hours. If you don't there is no limit on the time.

You're supposed to take a shower before you tan. If you do it afterwards, you're washing off the outermost layer of skin that has just absorbed the UV light. This is what the tanning bed people told me, because my brother actually told me this and I didn't believe it.

u shouldn't tan at all, u're not born dark, so trying to make urself that way is crazy, . UV rays can cause skin cancer for Whites so stay away from it and it causes premature aging so just stay way and use the spray on type!

You dn't have to wait a second - the tax is below your skin and can't be washed off.

you don't need to wait, just don't shave or exfoliate your skin or you will lose your tan faster
