Cancer and Virgo

Virgo, the Mutable Virgin and Cancer, the Cardinal Crab make a fabulous combination. You have an instant rapport that will lead to an enduring and satisfying match. Virgo appreciates your ability to provide a secure family life, yet you both are concerned with the nurturing and wellbeing of others. Turn your caring sides towards each other and you will turn your shared dreams into reality.

The sexual attraction is high and can be deeply passionate, but Virgo is skeptical of florid declarations of love. You both have strong feelings, although your Mercury-ruled partner is very fond of analysing things that sometimes you would prefer remained gloriously unspoken. Words are the way to Virgo's heart, so make sure you keep up a good flow of communication.

You like to be in charge, Cancer, despite your fluctuating moods, and the Virgin's talent for consultation and the practical exchange of ideas can help you stay balanced and productive. You can truly blossom with your Virgin's steadfast support, but do not take it for granted. The Virgin loves to serve, but is easily miffed. Remember that Virgo will soon have analysed all your weak points and has a cutting tongue that can make mincemeat of your tender sensitivities. You have a wonderful, lunar sense of humour but do not endure barbs lightly and can bear a grudge. That's another thing the two of you have in common... you both are capable of retaining hurts (both real and imagined) for a very long time.

Cancer is a Water Sign and Virgo is an Earth Sign, so you will be fruitful and multiply. In business,Cancer has a knack for making a fortune grow, while Virgo has the patience for tending to the necessary details. In creative endeavours, you can inspire Virgo, who can be too much of a perfectionist to take the risks needed for success.

Watch your personal habits, for Virgo is very fastidious and can be critical! Virgo is also rather reserved, so be prepared to persevere, and you will find a lifelong friend and ally, who can also reach great heights of sexual attainment. This combination is one of best. You are kindred spirits. It is a perfect match.

Absolutely, with some patience. Virgos are rarely as publically and openly affectionate as Cancers would like, and can sometimes be critical without realizing it's hurtful. Cancers tend to be a little sensitive, and this can make them depressive. Cancers are also natural nurturers, and some Virgos will misinterpret this as being "smothering." Extreme examples of the signs would drive each other crazy, but if both of them are willing to accept their partner's eccentricities and trust in their mutual love, it can be a match made in heaven.

Notes on Virgo: still waters run deep. If you're willing to be patient and trust a Virgo man, he'll be the best mate you could dream of. If you rush him, or constantly need reassurance of his love, it'll drive the both of you insane. Sometimes they just need to be left alone.

Notes on Cancer: this, too, shall pass! Cancerians can be moody like you would not believe, but everything comes full circle. In any mood, if a Cancer loves you you'll never have reason to doubt it; someone loved by a Cancer will sometimes wonder how they got so lucky as to deserve this! Just be careful when they're in a grump. Sometimes they need to be left alone, too.

(Luckily, Virgos and Cancers will usually both understand that sometimes the other needs to be left alone. That one took me forever to learn!)

Both of you are inclined to mood changes that, at times, can irritate each other. For example, CANCER experiences periods of melancholy, tenderness, concern, worry, nostalgia and sentimentality, which VIRGO may not understand or sympathize with. VIRGO can suddenly become irritated and irascible over minor annoyances, and at such times, is capable of intense sarcasm and criticism, which can be extremely disconcerting to CANCER's tender, sensitive feelings. VIRGO must be prudent, and CANCER must strive to be forgiving when things go a little awry. However, you are both capable of enormous devotion to one another (and to your children if you have them), and taking care of one another comes naturally to you.

anybody is compatiable with each IF they can get along with one another. NOT because of their horoscope signs! And trying to determine whether your compatiable based on horoscopes is a waste of time and bull ****! I tried it and thought that me and my BF was the perfect couple just based on that but 2 mths later realized that it was WRONG!!!

There has been no credible research
indicating horoscopes or astrology have
any connection to reality.

None.

Your hypothetical man and woman will
be compatible or not compatible for
reasons that have nothing to do with
which zodiacal sign the Sun was in at
the time they were born.

Not according to astrology, but i've seen this combination work out so many times I would say yes. Especially since your Venus and Moon signs are extremley compatible.

Yes, they are. Cancer is water, Virgo is earth..although the best matches would be someone who shared your element, water and earth is the next best thing. Good luck!

I'm a virgo and my fiancee is a cancer and we're ... beyond compatible, but it's not because of the date when we were born.
