I'm only 17 1/2 weeks they are making me feel insecure, Iike things aren't going right... I know they are but..

I use to get soooooo sick of that question. Now the only thing worse is that I get WOW, you look like your gonna pop and are you sure there is only one in there. People are retarded, I swear and the worst is when it comes from woman who already had babies.
Don't worry, you will show on your own time table and then you will be envious of those days when you were not quite as big. I miss being about 5 months pregnant. I thought I was pretty cute back then, now I am a whale lol, oh well.
My best advice, don't listen to anyone but your doctor and enjoy every stage for what it is worth, it goes so fast.

Don't worry they are just jealous. I get big really fast when I am pregnant, so I kind of envy how small some ladies look when they are barely showing at like 5 or 6 months pregnant. Trust me people lose all tact around pregnant ladies, they think it's okay to touch or stare or ask all sorts of rude quesitons. Either just ignore them or come up with a good come back...it'll make you feel better. Or you could just straight out call them rude, and make them be the ones who feel uncomfortable.

Im 23 weeks and still getting that question, and it is irritating, but just ignore it because soon enough it will pop and there will be no more of that question. I figure I've got another month till this happens so you could have 10 more weeks to go, just try to be patient with them. Good luck.

I totally know what you mean. I'm now 34 weeks and people just have to say "oh you got big so fast!" I mean, either way you show or not show someone always has to say something. I didn't show until I was about 6 months pregnant, and the comments were constant-but hey, you just can't let them get to you. You'll see your little chicken grow-believe me! Good luck!

I HATED that question with my last pregnancy. I was having twins and people were constantly saying "are you sure you're having twins cuz you don't have much of a belly." People don't think that it will upset you because in their mind they're saying you look thin, but to an expecting Mom, it makes us frustrated and nervous. Best of luck.

I started showing in my second month. I got HUGE! My sister on the other hand didn't start to show until she was about 6 or 7 months. I have a friend that didn't show at all during her last 3 pregnancies. Every woman in different.

I'm quite the opposite, but I thought I'd answer anyway - lol!!

I'm sick of people asking "Are you sure there aren't 2 in there?" - of COURSE I'm bloody sure - I have regular ultrasounds!!

It's as frustrating to have people comment on a big belly as no belly! My boss said: "You'll need to be wearing maternity gear soon" when I was 12 weeks!! GRRR!

ignore everyone!!!! i didn't show either till 20 weeks and everyone was like your so small then i suddenly popped and now at 27 weeks everyone is like your so big. i honestly want to knock the hell outta someone at least once a day....lol. bottom line somebody will always have something to say b/c they have nothing better to do.

I am 29 weeks pregnant and have not put any weight on and I am still getting that question. I suppose its better than always getting asked if you are having twins!

just be happy i was like that with all three of my girls i came home from the hospital in real jeans! hopfully i am the same with #4 we'll see im only 6 wks. thats a long time from now.
