ok I stayed home today and I knew that he stayed home to because he told me last night but I didn't call him because I was afriad that he was gonna think that I didn't go to school just to copy him, The reason I didn't go to school was because I needed to get caught up on my homework because I have 2 essays to do. He's now a little bit mad at me for not calling him
Is he overreacting or should I have called??

YOu didnt call him because you didnt want him to think wrong of it?
You thought for him... you didnt know what he would think. So you made that choice. Seems like a game play. If it wasn't then why didnt you just call?
I think you are squirming a bit because he called you on it. I dont think he should be very mad that you didnt call....i think he should be mad that you assumed how he'd react if you had called him.

May be he is overreacting, but, while I do not think is right that you stayed home to do school work (that should have been done at another time), you had no obligation to call him -- at least not until you were through with your school work. Tell him to get over it!

If you would have called him, he would have come over, you would have not gotten your essay done so your day would have been a waste.
Is he that selfish that he would get you into trouble for not having your work or that you would have had to stay home another day?

YOUR NOT HIS KID TO REPORT TO HIM ALL THE TIME... HE IS OVERREACTING. COMUNICATION IS IMPORTANT IN EVERY REATIONSHIP BUT YOU DONT HAVE TO CHECK IN YOUR EVERY MOVE... PLUS HOMEWORK IS MORE IMPORTANT, BUT THATS NOT ENOUGH REASON TO MISS SCHOOL...
