that depend where do you live, and how the grading system in your country...
If you used a, b,c system and highest point is 4.0
(sum of your grade x credits)/sum of credits
grade point : a =4, B = 3, C=2, D=1, E=0
english (3 credit) than your GPA will be :
[(4x3)+(3x2)+(2x3)]/(3+2+3) = 3.0 of 4.0
if you don't know what is credit, usually credit is equal with hour you take the course for a week. so if you have 3 hrs lecture of math for a week mean you have 3 credit for math.
usually 1 hr = 45 minutes of lecture
if you leave in europe, usually the highest grade is 1.0
instead of using alphabet they use point such as 1.4 or 3.4, etc.
to count your gpa in this kind :
multiply each point with the credits and then divide it with total credits of all class.
exp, you got 1.7 for math (3 credit), 2.5 for art (2 credit) and 3.2 for english (3 credit)
than your gpa is :
[(1.7x3)+(2.5x2)+(3.2x3)]/{3+2+3)=.... of 1.0

GPA is just a percentage. So if you know how many you got out of the possible total amount right, like 66 out of 87 questions, you divide the amount you got right by the number possible on test (66 divided by 87) and it will give you your percentage. So assign a value to like A= 5, B=4 etc. If you need help you can email me, retired teacher here.

The easiest thing to do (if you are in a school and not homeschooling) is to go to the office or the guidance counselor. They should be able to tell you your GPA
