Assume you are testing two different ink pens to see which one writes for the longer time. What are some important constants to consider

1) The same type of paper or other material to be writing on shold be the same. One type of material might be more absorbent = more ink used.

2) The exact same type of writing should be done. It's a control. This is best done by machine.

3) The pens, and the environment, should be at the same temperature. Temperature can affect ink flow.

4) The pens, when writing, should be at the exact same angle in relation to the material. Different angles can affect ink flow.

5) Is the amount of ink a constant, and you are really measuring the other mechanics of the pen? If so, weigh both pens empty and then filled with ink to make sure they have the same amount.

2. You Must Use the same amount of pressure between
Pen and Paper
3. The Room Temperature must remain constant .
4. You Must write the same amount of words, and must
write these words the same size on both papers

Write 5,000 word essay with each pen then make your choice. It doesn't have to be an essay it can be a note book. You can write (I will not ask stupid questions on answers.com.) 100,000 times, then make your decision.
