I've never heard of it, but I do have a cure from my grandmother that really works. I've used it and told many people about it, but you have to be brave it hurts the first couple of times you apply it. READY!!?? Vicks Vapor Rub.
I know it sounds crazy, but what does it do to your nose right. It shrinks the swollen tissues. It does work, I even used it when I was pregnant after telling my Dr.

Get Gold Bond Body Lotion in the green container. Don't mess with the stuff they sell for roids, none of them work. It helps to to wash with peroxide after going to the toilet. Then put on the GBBL. I guarentee it works. I would not try the stuff you mentioned. It is kind of tender back there.
