1. I would say D. Only plants can photosynthesize, I've never seen a hunting worm, and I don't know about the water. I know they have to moisten what they eat because they can't chew it (no teeth) and they eat things that decompose.

1. Depends on your flatworm, doesn't it? Many species are parasites. Some species are intestinal parasites!
Planaria are omnivorous. They don't particularly hunt, but they will eat organisms they come across. You can read about putting a bit of liver in a stream, and coming back later to see it covered with planaria.
Tell your teacher this is a bad question.

for the first question i am sure that almost all worms feed on decaying matter
for the second ques it is very much clear that sun is the ultimate source of energy for all organisms
for the third ques,all the absorption take place in ileum and colon only so the answer is b.

1. neither - it sits in your intestines and waits till you eat and digest your food. then before you absorb the food, it absorbs it itself. if it has nothing else, it has brains, it finds ready made pre-digested food while you lose energy to produce digestive enzymes, and in return you get little energy as the food absorbed is significantly less. but it does not usually kill you, otherwise it also dies... ps this applies only if you are referring to the parasitic species, eg Taenia solium. the other non parasitic species i guess is carnivorous.
