I have some glass carvings I want to photograph; what's the best way wthout getting glare and reflection?

they are 8 1/2 "X 5" in size; solid 1/2" crystal; I carve my original designs in them using a Fordham drill; they aren't sandblasted, and have depth and dimension to them

Hey Glassgirl,

You need to shut off the Flash and provide light from many sources. That will bring the affect to 'What you see, is what you get'. If you use a flash, you cannot tell what might flash back.
