Ok so my husband and I went in for a 2nd ultrasound today to see if the 2nd sac was still there and it was, but the tech was unable to find a heartbeat or even see the baby. She said the baby could be farther back and that is why, but shouldnt she have been able to find something.. Has this happend to anyone else and if so did you have twins or was it just a single birth. I deep down want twins so badly, and they run in my family like you would not believe....

One of my husband's employees lost a twin in utero. She had a twin pregnancy confirmed, but one of the twins was much smaller and had a really low heartrate, it eventually died. The other baby is due any day.

i had this. it was called a blighted ovum, for some reason the sac continues to develop and no baby ever does. i wasn't with twins. it is a weird thing to go through because technically you got pregnant and miscarried but there was never a fetus so you dont know what to mourn for. how far along are you?
