Can top that, my hubby used to call from work on Saturdays at least 2 x per month and say that him and some of the guys decided to have a party in our yard so... could I throw something together quick... something from the grill actually. My response was "tell them it's BTOB"... bring their own b*****it!!

This is why we (MEN) can't win with women...If plan something, then we are not spontaneous enough and boring. If we just show up unannounced then we're too inconsiderate. If we want to take you out to lunch then we're a pain. If we leave you alone then we're not paying enough attention. My only question is that what's more important than your boyfriend or husband...if you say anything then your priorities are wrong. Nothing should be more important than the people in your life. OK now you can booo me.

No, it irritates me to no end. Do they assume that they are top priority in our lives? Women have very busy lives, and alot of resposibilities, and it would be nice iof your man would plan ahead. Now if it was a special occasion, like your birthday, or anniversary, that's different. It would be a sweet, thoughtful surprise.

I'm a guy and it must be realized that society drills into our heads that all women like spontaneity, so that's why sometimes we may do things like that. At least in my case! lol!

No, I don't. It's rude, and inconsiderate, and the moment you give into that...they will expect it each and every time.
