As for foundation, you might want to try a more matte foundation because it will react less to the accumulation of oils and sweat (which probably occur during a bar session!) whereas a dewier foundation tends to slide and slip with excess moisture, in my experience. If you're willing to pay a little more (I'm pretty sure it's under or around $30), MAC's Studio Fix Fluid is an amazing liquid foundation that gives you a flawless finish and does not budge once it's on, but the best part about is that you can't even feel it on your face.

You can try Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse or L'Oreal's TrueMatch foundation. I've heard great reviews of both. You may also want to invest in a loose powder, because that can help set the foundation and keep it on longer.

I don't use an all over one, just concealer if needed and a powder foundation, such as Mac studio fix or Lancomes wet/dry one. A friend of mine uses the mineral stuff which is pretty sheer - she loves it. Some friends also use the tinted moisturizer types, they seem pleased and it's very subtle and natural looking. Generally, less is more makeup wise. Too much makes you look old, and no matter what the brand it needs to be touched up etc....

Firstly start with good skincare regime. Wash, tone, moisturize. Then apply a primer. A primer will help your foundation lasts longer. Then apply your foundation. Dap it on your skin. Don't rub it in. After that, set it in with loose powder. I recommend NOT touching up your foundation. Blot the oil on your skin instead. Less makeup is more makeup.

Lastly, I recommend MAC. For both primer and foundation. But it really depends on your skin. Try a range of brand to see what suits you best.

Yes, get something with more coverage- either your foundation is too thin and does not offer a lot of coverage, or your skin is too oily (as it was in my case) and it disappears as the day goes on. I currently use MAC Studio Fix, costs $25 and you can buy it in Macy’s, Nordstrom or any MAC store. If you are not happy with the purchase, you can always return it for a full refund.

Mary Kay is great foundation...with any foundation, you should apply the liquid, let it dry, and then brush on some powder...it will set the makeup, give you a beautiful finish, and last longer throughout the day..

bare minerals - i just got the starter kit and let me tell you - it's great! smooth finish and you hardly feel like you have anything on - but it has smooth, lasting coverage all day! and if you have greasy 't zone' like me - my face isn't as shiny by end of day w/bare minerals....
