Check this out! It's finally here!
If you don't want to pay child support, if you don't to get screwed when your woman wants to kill your kid, then DON'T impreganate her!
I'm sure it's not that simple, though.!
All the stern pro-lifers and anti-contraceptionists out there, please refrain. We already know your side, but this is about how everyone else can and will respond.

Yeah, I agree that as a female I wouldn't just trust the guy, but as the guy, I wouldn't just trust the woman either, eh?

Interesting point, Virgo.
This means that the men who COULD afford the kid would be the only ones ABLE to get the pill.
At least, until production is paid for, and the company can afford to sell for less.
Same with DVD's, etc.

It makes sense that abortion would decrease if both partners are actively using birth control however this is dependant on cost & availability. If the male pill costs 150$ when a condom costs 3$ then of course it won't be used. If men don't know where to go to get a prescription or if insurance does not cover it (the way that most insurances cover Viagra but not most methods of birth control for women), then use will also be affected.

If I was a man, I would be the first in line to get my pill. Imagine… no worries about impregnating a girl you just met because of a condom slip. No worries about your wife getting pregnant again after just having a kid. No being sued for child support from your ex-girl from 5 years back.

Just as low cost & available (EFFECTIVE) birth control changed the social behavior & available opportunities for women, it will do the same for men. Controlling your fertility is a powerful thing & parenthood has occurred so haphazardly for men that I am positive that they will work to affect all kinds of changes in the law & society as a whole.

The male contraception will affect in many ways, the same as contraception for women.

It's fantastic. I don't think it will affect many of the issues surrounding family law, but it may, with responsible use, cut down the number of unwanted births dramatically.

I think it would be a great thing. It would definitely stop all of those women who get pregnant on purpose to keep their man. I think that men would go for it. But who knows, they aren't really sticklers for condoms.

only way to stop that is to tie both men and women up from each other. remeber, people confuse love for sex. they want the children but not the commitment of marriage
