You probably won't find bamboo needles that small. The smallest size is about a 3.25/3.5 mm (US size 4) because below that size the bamboo is just too brittle to use. Clover is about the only one who makes bamboo needles, too, although Webs (www.yarn.com) does have their own in-house brand you might look at. For a 2.25 mm needle you'd need metal or birch needles. Even plastic needles don't come that small.

you might try Patternworks, they have an amazing selection, and if they cannot help you, they will be happy to direct you to someone who can.
You might be able to make them, take good chopsticks from a take out place, use a pencil sharpener on the ends to make good points, use an emery board to smooth them, oil them with baby oil, which you rub into the wood, and let set for an hour, and then you are off. I made a very cute dog coat using chopsticks to do the neck.
