Check out SnagIt, it is available through TechSmith.com. This allows you to take a screen capture of the entire screen, a region of the screen, menus, and more. After making the capture, the screen shot will open up in an editing program that comes with SnagIt. This allows you to trim, crop, and much, much more. This is not a free program, the cost is $39.99, but there is a 30-day eval, so you can try it before you buy.
This program also has add-ons so you can send the screen shot into Excel, MS Word, Flickr, and other programs. You can also save you capture in a multitude of picture formats, or send directly to an outgoing email.

Press the Print Screen key (PrtScrn) on the keyboard (next to F12) then open any drawing or photo program (use Paint if nothing else) and PASTE the image to the program. Save it as a file.

in case you have homestead windows Vista there's a extra advance option than purely Print exhibit screen. you could bypass in to start Menu, seek in ``Snipping gadget``. i like it lots extra appropriate than Print exhibit screen. have no thought if that's in homestead windows 7, yet thinking it`s extra advance, it could have it. homestead windows XP would not have this option. Use Print exhibit screen if it`s homestead windows XP.

Take the photo as you normally would. One precaution - - be sure that there are no uncovered windows behind you. The glare of the windows will show up in your picture.
