yes all the time, when i was 7 and my family and I had moved into a new house, i had no allowance or any proper saving money (basically nothing in my pocket), then the money came rolling in, in pennies, I found so many around the house I had a large jar filled with them, then we had to move into another house and on the last day of being in that house I counted all the pennies and it came to £5.00 in english money, I was so happy.

I same them and give them to my grandma. She is part of some charity that buys books for low income schools with the pennies. It's a great cause and easy to be a part of.

Yes definitely - just throw them in a bottle or jar and cash them in when it is full! They add up and why wouldn't you keep them????? They are still money!
