The engine type is 2.2L 4cyl

The computer does not show any trouble codes at all. its not pulsating properly. have to keep reconnecting the fuel injecters to get it to start and stay running.

Have replaced:

we do have three manuals and they dont say what could be wrong. when we test the wires to the fuel injecters they register at a 12v reading and in the manual it is only supposed to be 1-3v. The computer is reading that the engine is competly cold and floods the engine.

another thing is that when wwe got the car it drove back here just fine, then we changed the spark plugs and wires because squirles ate thru the wires and some were showing bare and arching as well. thats when the care started to flood its self.

The most logical part toreplace are the injectors because it very probable (100%Sure) that they are not closing properly because of particles inthe way It hapened to me.

Before you spend any more money on parts, spend some on a repair manual and tools. It probably is the injectors or pressure regulator, maybe the pump. You can get a multimeter, fuel pressure guage, and repair book for probably less than the O2 sensor cost.
Use the book and multimeter to test the rest of the sensors, and the pressure guage to test the pump and regulator for positive pressure and leak down.

The fuel pressure regulator is actually a good suggestion. It's vacuum powered, and when the diaphram goes bad, you get a lot of gas sucked into the manifold through the vacuum line.

it sounds your cold start injector is grounded and fires intermittenly even your engine is hot and your catalytic sensors read very high because the catalytic converter itself is very very hot due to the excess fuel that was dump down the system have an auto electrician check all the system to make sure that all are in safe condition
a dump fuel in the converter is very dangerous it might cause fire or detonation
please have it check by the mechanic too

buy
Get a Haynes Repair Manual at the local Auto Zone or auto parts store in your area. It will troubleshoot and show you how to fix your vehicle. Also on the Auto Zone site has a section for vehicle maintenance
