The star of 300 is Gerald Butler. He played the Phantom in the newest Phantom of the Opera movie. He also was in the second Tomb Raider movie and is now rumored to be taking the role of Snake Plissken in an Escape from New York remake. He’s never been involved with the wrestling industry.
The wrestler I believe you are thinking of went by the name of Kurrgan and was part of the Human Oddities in 1998. They are definitely not the same people, Kurrgan’s real name is Robert Maillet and he was last seen wrestling for some independent promotions up in Canada.

I would google his Bio. Or Yahoo it But i read about him a few days ago and i don't remember anything about being a wrestler.
