I have no wish to close doors for you - but wanting to turn straight is going to be like me asking you to stop liking your favourite food - and prefer something you dislike instead.
You can go through all the motions, but unless you know a way to re-program parts of your brain, I think you are going to spend the rest of your life constantly battling with yourself.
I am sure there will be a few who will tell you to pray to Jesus - which is fab - but it won't actually achieve anything - any more than if I pray to have a full head of hair again. It aint gonna happen!
Perhaps finding out why you are fed up with your relationships to other guys might be a more fruitful prospect - certainly at least that has a reasonable chance of some progress.
Folks that try to lead a straight life when they are - in fact gay, often end up in a loveless marriage which tends to ruin TWO lives.
Making someone straight is like making someone change their favourite colour. They might *say* what you want them to say - they may even WANT to change their favourite colour. BUT if they love purple and hate cyan, you and 1000 others will never change it.
Same goes for your sexuality.
The only door I can suggest is "explore your own feelings and work out as much about yourself and your own needs as you can"

I know how you feel, I use to want to go to girls because gay men play too many games. But the truth of the matter is, your gay, and you can't change that. What would make you want to go straight? Is it the games? The Drama? The drugs? Gay life is hard to live, but when you finally become happy with being yourself and excepting yourself, then you will be a lot happier. You have to except yourself before others can except you. I hope that you don't decide to go straight, because I can almost guarantee that you will end up breaking some girls heart when you decide that you want to be gay again. I wish you the best of luck and I hope that you will make the best decision.

honey, all of us want to be straight at some point. I mean, just look at all the homophobia going on. We get called a f@g everytime we walk outside, people threaten to gay bash us and they dont even let us live a happy life (same-sex amrriage, adoption, etc.) And they say being gay is a choice. lol. The stuff they put us through is crap, but no matter how hard you try to pretend that your straight, you can never change who you really are. Just find people who you can be comfortable around. forget about what the homophobic people say and just live your life. You will never be happy if you lie to yorself

Um... I've been there before. Every time I break up with someone, I long to be in a straight relationship, where I can go on and be "normal". I think that we are who we are, and there's nothing we can do about it. Maybe just take a break from dating for now. Sorry.

I don't get it? Straight men don't close doors? What does that have to do with the fact that you are gay, will always be gay, and can't "fix" that you are gay.

Hi...
I know how you are feeling...
It's not easy... I could tell you everything... but nothing would be usefull.
I don't know why you feel like giving up...
personally I wanted to be straight again because I was ashamed of my gay world... all fashion and Divas...
I was about to say "Geez... that's it, enough of all these f***ing superficials boys who are just looking for a sex night!"
But you know what?
Now I'm the happiest man in the world...
I found someone that I really love and I guess he loves me the same way...
I thank God for having send me my boyfriend just when I needed him the most
I'm proud of being gay, so you should be!
just because it is your nature, it's your own persona
Nothing special about being gay...
just respect your nature... you'll understand that you can be happy in your lifestile!!
best regards
Geo

I doubt if you were ever str8 in the first place, much less being str8 agian.
You are probably BiSexual.
You have to decide which way you want to go with this. A closet should not have a revolving door.

if you are truly, deeply, and heavily committed to changing your orientation, then you can do it easily. Began ja*ck*ing off fantasizing about girls, (if it helps you can use porn, but porn is something i consider to be disgusting), and cut yourself off from the homosexual side of yourself. This process takes years, deep committment, and stict self-control. If you can't do this, then don't. If you can, go for it.

This means that you are bi. That's OK and it doesn't make you a bad person. Life is too short to be unhappy. Tell your boyfriend that you would like to take a break. You are confused right now and need to figure some things out before you further commit to your relationship. I hope this was helpful. Good luck to you.
