Yes, for the past 40,000 years we all had motivation and energy. Then suddenly 30 years ago, it was all absorbed by computers.
Good luck with that.
There are no end times.

First of, people have ALWAYS BEEN greedy, spoiled, and lazy. Here is one connection. The spoiled people usually are lazy and its seems to be an intrinsic human condition to always want more, and thus those lazy people who have it all some how always want more...
However, with the popularisation of computers and the wealth of information online has done many things for humans.
It as made information convient - a library, a movie store, the mall, supermarket, pharmacy, the bank....anytime, day or night, even open on holidays!
It has also given access to the minds of millions to those like the media. Sex is cool on tv, and now the internet has been the motherhome. Porno sites did not even come to mind when said that, I met stuff like bloggers sites where people now think its cool to post nudity on it, just for fun, or to expose their ex-spouces or...to advertise porno sites.
It changes attitudes, these days, we can see any music video we want for free and I know I don't need to call the websites because they are popular. And now all our nations are becoming learnt by what these artists - and indeed they are for being so creative - are the shapers and thinkers for our youth, who will grow up to own the keys to our neuclear weapons and weapons of biological labs. Basically, if anyone makes sh*t sound good, it will be bought and internalised from some of the most trival forms known. And it is just a part of our humanity which we cannot lose but in turn it makes us loose so much more of the part that is most precious to be the unique, invaluable, irreplaceable beings we are. I am not sure if its the end of times but I do know were are slipping fast.

A certain number of humans have always been greedy, spoiled, and lazy. Computers did not cause this. Computers and the Internet just make it easier to reach more gullible people to separate from their money.
As far as knowledge being increased before the end - knowledge has been on the increase since the first humans. Mankind hungers for knowledge. And, someday, there will certainly be an end to humanity and this world. To say that knowledge will increase befor the end is about the most simplistic statement that anyone could make. Ever.

LOL.... No. Humans were greedy, spoiled and lazy before computers. Computers just make the lazy easier to accomplish.
As for the "end of times" part.... I'm not convinced we as a group really understand what Jesus was saying. I suspect he was revealing something that was not quite as literal as you're taking it. (But that's just my humble opinion.)

No, humans were greedy, spoiled, and lazy before they had computers. With computers, we are more so, but access to information has increased exponentially. That's the trade-off, I guess.

That question is offensive to computers. Just like any tool, it all depends on how you use it.
But I see your point. The printing press, for instance, has made human memory less powerful and reliable (since we're no longer in the habit of memorizing everything). Our story-telling/narrative skills have also suffered as a result.
So if you're going to indict computers, then perhaps all tools should be blamed as well.

maybe so, but i dont think it is because of computers. if humans are greedy, spoiled and lazy, it is because they choose to be that way. computers are just a tool, and like any tool, it can either benefit you or hinder you, depending on how you choose to use it.
