I need a really good, cute and comfortable pair of jeans. I’m almost 5'6, 140lbs and I have a really hard time finding jeans that don’t choke my ankles! Can you guys (ladies!) please tell me where you got your favorite pair? Brand name and price would be helpful too. Thanks!

I got my favorite pair at the Buckle. They are BKE and they cost about $75. They are the best fitting pair I have ever owned! I say one expensive well fitting jean is better than 5 cheap ill fitting jeans.

At a store in Paris (Galleries Lafayette) the jeans’ brand is Ange. Had them for 4 yrs, they still fit great, I love the denim and the cut- get compliments on them all the time.In US you can buy decent jeans from Express, Guess or DKNY (they will cost you about $30-$70 per pair.) If you can spend a little more, look for brands such as Rock & Republic, Seven, Paper Denim & Cloth (priced between $100-$150.) Ebay has a great selection and price, but if you’re not sure if they will fit, go to a store first to try them on.

Sunshine, I have similar problems now.......Seems that the manufacturers have changed their sizing.......My favorite ones came from Old Navy and JCP, but neither of their Jeans fit me now.....And it drives me crazy!!!!! All gape at the waist.....
I have found though that Walmart has a fairly decent selection and the prices are great. Bought me some of the Lee's Riders Jeans and am really happy......still gape a bit at the waist, but I guess to get them perfect is almost impossible. Don't remember exactly what I paid, but definitely less than $20. Hope I could help a tad!

Macys, expensive but I found a pair for less than $30 don't know the name but it has a little bird on the pocket. Buy dark washed straight legged jeans, not the skinny jeans big difference.

I got my favorite pair of jeans from Macy*s! They r '7 for all mankind' and I paid $150 for them. But Bloomingdale's has such a huge selection for jeans! Like a whole floor of denim! With such a wide variety you're sure to come out with at least 1 pair!

abercrombie & fitch from the abercrombie & fitch store. also levi's from the levi store. Both stores are in NYC, but also nation wide...of course. Well I am 5'6, 120 lbs and I wear a size 7, so I'd say that you wear a size 9-11. The price for my abercrombie & fitch was about $50 and the levi's about the same, maybe a little less.

Hey... I got my fav pair of jeans at dots. They were about 16.00. They are really comfortable. Also Deb has awsome pants.

Kohl's, Levi's about $40.00... they seem to have a good selection... and if you have trouble with girls jeans try a pair of guy jeans, whos gonna know unless you tell.

You'd probably be a size......11? 12? I dont know..maybe less. it depends. but I got mine at Abercrombie and Fitch. they go up to size 14. or American Eagle..up to 18 online, 16 in stores.
