Every time we had sex I wore a condom and if we ever had sex multiple times I put a new one on each time. She is eight days late now and just told me about it today. Her parents don't allow us to date and I won't be able to see her for another week to take a test, we are both pretty young, her younger than I and I don't know what else to do, I'm scared to death, any advice??

There always a chance of being pregnant, even when a condom is used, BUT the chance is very very slim, as long as you used the condom correctly and took every step to be safe. I wouldnt get to worried yet, females have late periods all the time for so many different reasons, stress being one of them. If shes sitting there thinking that pregnancy is a possibility its funny what tricks the mind can play. Try not to worry about it, i really dont think shes pregnant.

Pregnancy is always a possibility, a female can get pregnant without any penetration just semen around the vaginal entrance, its a very slim chance but its possible. If you used the condom properly and it didn't break I highly doubt there is anything to worry about. Depending on how young she is 14-17 her period could be late for any reason that has nothing to do with pregnancy, I know because up until I was 18 years old I had abnormal periods all the time just because my body was constantly changing and developing. Thats how most young girls are even more so if they are sexually active. During the teenage years sometimes the only thing that can make a females period regular/normal is birth control and sometimes that doesn't even help. The female body is complicated and "weird". I dont think you have anything to worry about but the only thing that will ease your mind is a pregnancy test an at home one will be very accurate if she is 8 days late, I suggest first response cause it detects before you are late by a few days. It's good that you guys used condom, but sometimes it can broke. If your girlfriend has a late period or missed period it could be a sign that something it up. There are a different causes for a late period, in some cases is not necessary a sign of pregnancy. If you can see her you can call her and ask her to buy a pregnancy test. If It comes up to be positive It's good to make an appoitment with your doctor. Check out this website it has a lot information about miss period. Don't panic it may be just a late period.

well if you used a condom correctly everytime its very unlikely, but remember that EVERYTIME you have sex its possible to get pregnant, no matter what type of birth contol is used as no birth control is 100% safe even when correctly used.your girlfriend should take a pregnancy test to make sure she isnt pregnant,
if she is young then its likely her periods will be irregular still and it may be late if she is stressed out ect.
if you are not ready to have a baby the best idea is not to have sex at all. if how ever you insist on having sex then it would make more sense for your girlfriend should go on the pill and use condoms to help prevent pregnancy further.

well one of those times the condom must have broke, she could very well be pregnant, I can see why you two are not allowed to date. When you guys do find out I would go to the parents that are not against your relationship because you are going to need help telling the other set. I hope for your sake you are not 18 and she is underage her parents can cause a big stink! well I wish you guys luck, and if by some chance this all turns out to be a scare, tell her to get on the pill.

Get her a home pregnancy test and have her take it. There's no point stressing out until you know for sure she's pregnant. If you're old enough for sex you're old enough to deal with the consequences. Her parents will find out eventually so you may as well involve then in the discussion. Best of luck.

If she's stressing out then that's something that can make your period come late. But take the test or have her go to the doctor as soon as u can. Not knowing for sure will drive u nuts!

first of all take a deep breath.... okay if your girlfriend is young (15-17) her period really hasn't regulated 100% for her to really be able to know when her cycles are... most girls cycles don't regulate til they are a lil older so just because she thinks she late doesn't really mean she is... but for that added peace of have her take a test or when you see her next time y'all should go to a health department... they are free and will give her a pregnancy test and they are not allowed to give any information to parents..

Well, just to let you know, I was 8 days late on MY period, so took a test and it said I was pregnant.
