yes slow release carbs give longer energy - wholewheat pasta and bread and porridge (add syrup for tastyness!!) Also green leafy veg to boost iron in the blood, and pulses beans lentils etc etc, one particular fave of mine is chickpea and spinach curry Get tin of chickpeas, onions and fry with spoons of curry paste then add tin tomatoes and finally lots of fresh spinach stir till it wilts yum yum!!!. Also during the day snack on nuts and dried fruit - good luck - i really feel for- if possible take warm bubble baths and burn lavender oil to get a good sleep!!

Bananas. They're high in energy and potassium, this is why lots of tennis players eat them, but because they're also full of fibre that helps release the sugar slowly instead of giving you the sugar rush that sweets and crisps will do.

why not try Spirulina caps, or tabs. start 4/day for 4 days then 6-8 a day its wonderful. made out fresh water algae.

keep off the coffee and coke. eat pasta, fruit, but also keep the kids of the caffine and shuger that will slow them down a bit give them sandwiches insted of crisps
