i am looking for one inch think lexan (polycarbonate) to use for a sub(woofer) enclosure. It must be a minimum of 7/8 inch thick and a maximum of 1 inch thick. where can i find lexan of this thickness. if you can find other polycarbonate sheets available, those will work as well. However, I will NOT accept acrylic

If you can find someone with an account you may want to try McMaster-Carr, they are a great supply house and 99% percent of the time have anything you need. Usually you can select what dimensions you need. You may want to try Grainger as well. But you need an account to buy from them.

look for Sign Supply companies which are firrms that supply materials to companies that fabricate electric signs.
Know that a 4x8 of Lexan one inch thick is going to be really heavy

check the phone book under Glass (a shop that does window repair, mirrors, etc). call a few shops. it may be tough to find anyone with that thickness in stock, but they can order it for you.

Lowe's or Home Depot have it or you can look under Plastic in the phone book, suppliers are everywhere.

But re-reading your requirements I wold call a plastic supplier in your town.....
