i have been having a brown discharge for 3 days but it stoped im i do have sex and my period is late what is this i smells funny but i dont feal it like an infection.

Sounds like an infection to me.
Go to your OB/GYN and get it checked out. Any infection left untreated can cause serious problems....especially if you plan on having children one day.
Something similar happened to me, and that is what my OB/GYN told me.

That could be your period as period blood can be brown sometimes as the womb sheds the lining.
It could also be an infection. If it continues, see your doctor.
