Mate just bought an inland taipan from what sounds like a dodgy guy. Its the WORLDS MOST VENOMOUS SNAKE.

does your mate have experience handling venomous reptiles? because some people do keep taipan and other venomous snakes

OK before you buy a pet you must find info on it SO about the snake id say take it back to the shop its could really harm someone and if your friends hand gets bitten while he feeds it he can get hurt if he doesn't no anything about the snake the best thing to do is give it back and get a different one non venomous that are easy to look after .

Inland Taipan has most toxic venom. Maximum yield recorded (forone bite) is 110mg. That would porbably be enough to kill over 100 people or 250,000 mice. I'd start with George Bush. Then move on to the mice.

What's your question? I found info on it, but as for what to do? I don't know, but your mate should be careful with it and not get snakes like that. If it gets lose it could bite someone. LOL really not sure this helps because not sure waht your question was, sry.

Tell your friend to give it to a zoo so it can be happy and is hardly any risk of it escaping.
