The price of copper as with most metals i.e. brass, lead etc. fluctuates sometimes daily, so your best option is to contact a scrap metal dealer (yellow pages) to get the current price, try a few to get the best quote

The price of scrap copper changes every day due to the market fluctuation. One day it could be £2 per kilo and the next it could be £5 per kilo. Phone a scrappy up on the day you want to sell, and he will tell you that days price.
