The product will be DEAD most of the times, with the given reactants.Still, there definetly is the possibility of the offspring surviving.

In fact i am quite sure that someone curious enough had already tried this IN REAL LIFE. (except, a 'male human + female monkey' scenario is more likely - think about it - it would be easier if pregnancy is left to the ANIMAL female.)

Anyways, such cross species offsprings are not as uncommon as we might think. We all know that the MULE is a hybrid of a female horse and a male donkey.. There are more...

ZORSE - A zorse is the offspring of a zebra stallion and a horse mare. There's even a ZEEDONK - its a mix of.... well, u guessed it right :)

Im not kidding, but i think there are ZONYS, ZONKEYS and ZEBRASS too :o CRAZY !

And then we have LIGER - a hybrid cross between a male Panthera leo (lion), and a female Panthera tigris (Tiger).

-
So, bottom line is that such cross species hybrids, although nor readily compatible, are NOT totally incompatible either.

What i dont know is if the genetic closeness/similarity between apes and humans is comparable to the closeness/similarity between horses & donkeys or lions & tigers.

And all the hybrids mentioned above are relatively 'natural'. In the sense, at least entire animals are involved, but with modern boitechology, 'slicing n dicing' DNAs is fast becoming a reality and MUCH MUCH crazier 'creations' are possible. But with this kinda 'creations' hundreds of disfunctioning 'products' may die before a 'good-one comes up

i dont think anything could develop from this. the product (baby) would be dead as both human n monkey(or other animal) are 2 different species and there would be a mechanism against it. but if there is a development there, i just dun wanna imagine how its gonna look like.

as we knoe we are species of monkey but our mind has been developed.monkeys also have xx and xy chromosomes.if this will be occur then it will be maximum chance that baby will carry maximum features of man bcoz all works accepted through brain and our brain is more develop and so it wll have more effect than the monkey on the developing fotus.but his body strenght will be maximum like the monkey.and don't fear it will look lke our species.

The definition of a different species is the inability to produce young. There would be no baby. I doubt there would even be implantation of the sperm into the egg.

Can you imagine the faces of the Creationists if that did happen though...

It would follow that the product would be a FREAK! I'm not sure this could even happen because of genetic differences, but if it did, it might be a mixture of both.

interesting thougths, yet i do no longer understand my cat, and neither do i understand ants, or sharks, or squids. So going via your theory, then God would not understand me, that's amazingly obtainable i think. I agree, that if there have been a God, then we could no longer start to appreciate the character of that God. How ought to we start to appreciate the character of an all-powerful being? i do no longer even understand my own nature a good number of the time, or the persons around me, and that i dont be attentive to why i'm right here or what, precisely, i'm. And why do you think of that animals have not got a spirit? Animals are spirit creatures too.. havent you walked by using a woodland at night? ;-) all the final, zag
