There is a chance your baby will have either brown or blue eyes, although the chances of brown eyes are higher as they are a dominant color. Of course it can also depend on close relatives , meaning if most of your family has blue and not brown eyes, then blue may be more likely. My nephew has blue eyes though his mom and my brother has brown eyes which is how I found out. Of course, it all depends on the genes are inherited during early pregnancy.....which is how I ended up with red hair. Just think...you can have one baby with blue eyes and another with brown eyes.....I have 4 and all have blue eyes-though the dad of 3 of them has greenish colored eyes. Either way it will be a surprise for you! Enjoy it.

From a purely statistical standpoint, a few things can happen.
If you're homozygous for brown eyes (BB), your baby has a 100% chance of being brown-eyed, because blue eyes are recessive and a blue eyed person is *always* homozygous for blue eyes (bb).
On the other hand, if you're heterozygous for brown eyes (Bb) then your baby has a 75% chance of being brown-eyed and a 25% chance of being blue eyed.
This is why two blue-eyed people will always have a blue eyed baby, unless someone has some explaining to do!

Its all up to your not your partners genes (your partner will always give the blue gene to his children)!!
If there are other members in your family with blue eyes, there is a chance of the baby having blue eyes. If you have inhereted the blue gene the chance of having a blue eyed baby is 1/2
if you inhereted the brown gene from both your parents, all your children will have brown eyes.
I guess you can never be sure before u have kids!!

Well brown eyes are dominant and blue recessive, so it is more likely that your child will have brown eyes.
However, if you carry a blue eye gene (does anyone in your family have blue eyes-parents, grandparents?) then it is possible that your child will have blue eyes-- although the probability is lower.
If you do not carry a blue eye gene then your child will definately not have blue eyes because the child must obtain the recessive genes from both parents.

Could be blue or brown. If you have 2 dominant genes for brown, BB, then the baby will have brown eyes no matter what because you can only pass on the dominant gene. If you have one dominant gene for brown but one recessive for blue, Bb, there is a 50% chance of baby having either eye color. But there's really no way to know unless one of your parents has blue eyes, then your gene makeup is Bb. But if both your parents have brown eyes, you could be BB or Bb.

Could be either. My son's dad had deep brown eyes, mine are very blue...my son had blue eyes until he was about 6 then they turned hazel. My daughters dad has hazel eyes, and mine blue..and both girls are blue. According to science your babies eyes should be brown. It's the dominant color. BUT as you see, doesn't always happen that way.

It depends on your background...you rpartner can only 'produce' blue eyed offspring...you might have a blue eyes in your background (parents, grand parents, aunts and uncles who are directly related to you) If you do, there is a 50%/50% shot that the baby will have blue eyes...if you dont, the baby will have brown eyes.
