I had great results with Proactiv. The only thing to clear up my acne when I was younger. I don't have to use it now that I'm 23, but it definitely worked when I was in high school. There is one problem with it... while using it, always dry your face with a white towel and use a white pillow case. There is an ingredient in the product (including the lotion) that will sorta bleach things.

Proactiv works great but there are two other products that work great on acne are Clinique and Neutrogena. Clinique is on the pricy side. I've been using Neutragena for about 3 years now. Twice a day, I cleanse with some antibacterial soap, then I use the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne wash then I use the Clear Pore Oil Controlling Astringent. I use the facial mask once a week. ( I am 40 years old and I have had acne since I was 15) I am able to keep it under control, and my blemishes are gone.

I tried it when it first came out. The cleanser was good but I didn't care much for the toner or lotion.
Oxy 10 face wash & PanOxl soap worked just as well as the Proactive cleanser.
If over the counter products haven't worked for you so far, going to a dermatologist is your best bet. I finally went because benzoyl peroxide products did decrease my breakouts but I needed help dealing w/ the red marks left each time I had a pimple. My dermatologist prescribed an excellent topical cream that worked like a charm.

I tried it and it dried out my face. I think it is overrated. They will continuely bill your credit card every month. Don't waste your time. Arbonne International has an Acne line called Clear Advantage. The complete set has a wash, toner, lotion, supplements, and a FREE eye cream for $66. If you sign up as a consultant you will get 35% off. The total will come to $42.90. I have been using the Clear Advantage for 4 months and I LOVE it. You need to go through a consultant inorder to purchase it. Go to www.arbonne.com and you can find a consultant.

yes. Much better products out there. Try acnezine, the acne herbs from tibetanherbs.com, and a cleanser from zenmed.com.... I bought these things 2 weeks ago.... my acne is gone, 100% gone, and I had very difficult acne which I'd been trying to cure since I turned 15, (I'm 23 now, and a new mom, and very very happy to have rid myself of this problem!! I've tried EVERYTHING, really, everything!!).

I tried it and it made my face feel so tight and dry. It also gave me dry patches of skin near my nose. I don't have oily skin and not much acne, but i just used it to see if it would help with the few I do have. If you have oily skin I would suggest it because all of the products are meant to reduce the oil on your face.

Noo! Do not use Proactiv, I swear. You're better off with Clean&Clear Acne Wash!
