I have a dog named Whoa-D (pronounced like Roadie) and a cat named Biskits. Whoa-D got his name because he's hyper and it's short for Whoa Dog. Biskits got his name because that's all he does w/ his claws is make biscuits.

My current cat is Oliver because he was a little orphan when i got him.

And my roomies cat is Professor Pachyderm McDougal Dijour the 1st.
Because when we got him his feet have white toes and it looked like an elephant so we called him Elehant and that went into Pachyderm. Then we wanted it to be "Pachyderm of the day" so we added Dijour. Then we figured he needed to sound smart so we added Professor. Then we needed a human name with it so we added McDougal.
And eh is the first one.

So he is Professor Pachyderm McDougal Dijour the 1st.

My big dog's name is Kodiak. We named her that because when we got her from the pound her name was Cognac. (Probably because of her color) Since we're Mormon, we did consider the humor in keeping that name but ultimately decided against it. We didn't want to change her name too much, and she does kind of look like a big bear. It fits her.

My schnauzer also came from the pound and had the name Sofie. I don't like the name much because everyone seems to have a dog named Sofie. I wanted to change it to either Soapy or Zoey, but my kids liked Sofie. Now that my kids are teenagers, they call her sweetie or pancake. Go figure.

Black lab named JJ - childhood pet, first initial from my name and my brother's name.

Cat named PC - Peaches and Cream, she was a cream and peach colored calico. We called her Peace or Sweet Pea.

Golden retriever named Shadoe - we called her Doe (a la Homer Simpson 'doh!') since she was a bit... well, she had "blonde moments".

Cat named Bella - technically Silver Bell, we brought her home for Christmas and she's a silver tabby.

German shepherd named Katrin - we call her Kitty for short because it freaks people out to hear us call her and see a 90 lb dog come running.

3: cat: scrpper, she growled when she ate and would attak if you got anywhere close, you could also tie apiece of chicken to a nylon thread and pick her up, growling the whole time
4: dog: b*tch, because she was
5: dog: whitey, she was all black
6: cat: snow ball, all black
7: dog: blackie, all white

My first dog lived to be 18 years old, and I named him Chipper because he really was game for anything, and even in his last year he would get up and wag his tail when I came come. My last dog was named Alfie after the song:"What's it all about Alfie"> I loved him so much that I have made Alfie my user name on line.

St. bernard named Gracie. She is named after Gracie Lou Freebush in Miss Congeniality. Within the first two hours we had her she had fallen over her own feet many times and down a flight of six steps. I feel she earned her name well.

Mona... Because as a kitten she looked like a little weird monkey, with a tiny little face and huge ears, huge nose and huge paws!.... Cutest thing ever-- People used to think she was an alien or crossed with a raccoon or some other animal

Oso.... Because as a kitten he looked just like a tiny polar bear... has a couple of black spots in his back but his whole front was white fluffy fur and a cute little pink nose

We had a German Shepherd name Bill (affectionately known also as Sweet William).

There was a song out called "Don't Mess with Bill" by the Marvelettes and we thought it was appropriate. Bill was very territorial
