no, i dont think so. theyre all just followers, doing what everyone else is doing. dont let them get to you, just stick to what you believe.

Not at all. Accutually more guys are than you think. Lots of guys are waiting for the right person. They just don't advertise that. I know men in their 30s that are waiting for the one they want to marry first. And depending on your belief system, its perfectly normal. Some people believe that having intercourse is the same as marriage to god and therefore you probably don't want to be married to 50 people in his eyes.

It all depends on how you were raised and what you believe. Or what your moral / personal values are. Frankly, I'm hoping a little purity will start making a much bigger come back. We have too many little girls giving it away and too many little boys wanting to be pimps. It doesn't make me overly eager to have kids thinking they might turn out like the kids these days.

Bravo for you and self control.

You are NOT a loser because you are a virgin! At your age being a virgin commands great personal discipline, a high set of values and ethics, high standards, and intelligence. I'd say you are probably way ahead of many, many other young people your age.

It is so refreshing to know that there are still young people in the world who respect themselves. You really have it together! Annie

No way mate. I was 17 when I lost it, one of my mates was 14 and has two kids to different women and a load of hassle getting to spend time with them, one guy was 21 and he's still with the 3rd girl he slept with 5 years later, cos he was mature enough to know what he wanted. One of my best mates only just lost it at 25 (he thinks he waited a bit too long, but doesn't regret it at all). There's a lot of hassle comes with sex, but then it's usually good.

The point being it's better to wait 'til you're ready...

So ignore the macho wannabe alpha males and do your own thing. You'll know when it's right.

No.. Of course you are not a loser. I mean, being a virgin at 18 is cool, you are clean etc. If you are not in a hurry then just wait until you are ready.

It seems to me like you are surrounded by a bunch of idiots who equal self worth with sexual experience. Most of them probably are very sexually experienced...only with themselves.

You should absolutely save that part of yourself for your spouse. When the act of sex is carried out it's more than just a few pumping motions, some fake moans (from her) and a really nice feeling at the end.

Things happen inside. Emotionally and spiritually...you can't put a condom on that, and its value is worth more than some awkward 2-minute session in the back of a car (no matter what your guy "friends" say).

Sex is meant for pleasure, yes, but pleasure isn't its primary meaning (nor is reproduction), The primary reason for sex is intimacy with someone you love. A connecting between you and her that happens on a spiritual level...not just in your crotch area.

There always have been and always will be people who build up sexual experience, and for lack of any real sense of accomplishment or worth, they act like sex is some trophy.

These people (the ones who aren't lying about their sexual experiences-which cuts out about 70% of them) are the reason 1 in 3 adults in our society has an STD.

it's rare to find it in guys especially... It does NOT make you loser and the longer you keep it the better you'll likely feel. My husband was a virgin till his early 20's and same with myself....
The guys may think it's wrong but I bet there's a lot of girls who would really respect that.

Take your time. You will know when you are comfortable
about having sex. Anyone who calls you a loser may just be showing off because they are so macho and probably have never had sex either. I will give you some unsolicited advice:"Don't ask anybody". That little ticking in your brain will tell you when and where. It's really nobody's business but yours.

If you let it get to you, it will. But since you're 18, if you go to college, and focus on your grades, very few people will care enough to rib you if you don't bring it up.

Just get out of the high school mindset, and you'll be fine. But yeesh, stop advertising you're a V. It's like passing out bullets to the firing squad.

Don't listen to them! My brother kept his till probably after college, and now he is with a super hot blonde chick. I think saving it is the smart thing to do because then you don't have to worry about knocking up some hoochie momma who will destroy your life for the next 18 years demanding child support, or some nasty STD that will make you undesirable to anyone other than those same hoochie mommas.
