u best bet..u need to talk to him and tell him your concerns but do it in a public place and it is very likely he will not lose his temper...Ask a friend of his...not yours to join you both

A parent is supposed to be there to love, guide, praise, food, cloth, and to protect their child(ren). Anything more is just going too far. You are being an awesome mother. It is his fault YOU have to drive your daughter to see HIM. If he was really the one trying to see her, he would come and see her on his own. Don't push too far as a mother. If you are confused about moving in with him, then dont. If there is any confusion, then that means there is doubt. If there is doubt, then you shouldn't go for it. Don't dive in a ten foot pool when you dont know how to swim.

Not knowing the full background, I'd say he was feeling rather lonely and vulnerable without his family with him. The parental responsibilities issue in his mind, is probably his way of keeping a link to his family.

all i can say to you in this situation is that you must try your best to avoid courts if you can that is sometimes it's not to easy if he will not talk to you you may have to get a solicitor to talk to the other solicitor on your behalf to help you get a better understanding of how things stand
