Most employers say they cannot afford to insure the lowest workers, and the insurance premiums are too high for most families to pay in this economy. Plus, the Government has never really made health insurance for all Americans it's top priority.

I believe I have no health insurance for several reasons: 1). I work in the information sharing business (knowledge is power, but there's no money in it). If you work in the 'service sector' (read, do you want to biggee size that, sir/ma'am), the franchise owners pay minimum wage and consider that more than enough compensation. 2) the oligarchy that really governs this so-called democracy made plans for us to be destitute and in need of their 'welfare state'...(throughout history..the nobles wanted the peasants as powerless as they could get them) 3). the special 'club/guild' of the doctors, hospital administrators, dentists and high dollar technology people and, don't forget, the "drug making" companies, want big bucks for meeting your needs and are not not willing to compromise or settle for anything less. (It is all justified on paper...and perfectly legitimate...it's the way of the capatalist....don't question it) Ha!!! 4) Illegitimate complaints and lawsuits for multiple millions of dollars for pain and suffering (as opposed to legitimate and reasonable settlements). In the former case, think of the clumsy woman who dropped her McD's cup of coffee in her own lap and sued. These no limit lawsuits have driven up the price of doing business in the medical and business fields. 5. Our misshapen american sense of 'fairness' also comes into play, i.e. if native born people get health insurance; then, it is only fair, that the illegals (and their progeny) be given it too.l
And, finally, 6). It is a dog eat dog world...those who HAVE IT want to KEEP IT ..and GET MORE. If I have it, it is means 'I am special in the eyes of God and man. If you don't it's your fault and I have no obligations to you and will sleep well tonight; for I know that all you have to do is -- TRY HARDER.
Ha!

I hope this helps and generates some other ideas..like ...a workable government of Socialism...perhaps even a melding of socialism and communism...Of course, the nobles..will not like it, because it means they'll have to give up some of their excess land, money, power....

And throughout history, the peasants have done a lot of complaining, but cannot get together for positive action. However, sooner or later, the peasants revolt....the nobles, typically, slaughter them.

Your question is amazingly insulting to those who do not have well being care. in case you artwork at a short foodstuff joint for a living, you at the prompt are not lazy or inebriated and also you do not have well being care. in case you artwork on the overall public of small agencies in this united states you at the prompt are not lazy or inebriated and nevertheless do not have well being care. lack of well being care isn't a decision for exceedingly a lot all of those human beings. we are no longer speaking about 40 5 million homeless, alcoholic undocumented extraterrestrial beings taking section in X-field at a homeless look after. we are speaking about 40 5 million those with jobs that could no longer have the funds for to pay the $12,000 to $18,000 a year it takes to purchase a coverage. Your question makes me assume you've company-provided well being care and actually do not have any clue how a lot it easily expenditures. You presume that you'll get coverage on the community grocer. you won't be able to. that's amazingly expensive and in case you purchase a solo coverage, ranging between a similar fee as said above, you'll truthfully have any such severe deductible and regulations as to really in undemanding words hide catastrophic ailments. once you have not got any coverage in any respect, even minor injuries and ailments can develop into catastrophic -- you bypass over artwork, you won't be able to get therapy, your worsen. Many states now have "authorities" plans that artwork basically superb. look at Republican Mitch Romney's plan in Massachusetts. it may be finished.

We don't want it. We want to take care of our own health. We are tired of it being forced onto us. Insurance, even national insurance, is just a bandaid. It does not address the real problem of the medical community being so greedy and giving everyone the shaft.

Because if you have a job and pay your bills and are a LEGAL resident of the United States, you can't afford it. But the people with welfare checks and government assistance don't have to worry about that kind of thing. Did I mention that in my state of Colorado that most of the people on Medicaid are illegal immigrants.

Because of excessive government meddling and this BS litigious society of victim worship. If you are worthless and on the dole, or an illegal alien, you get everything for free. If you work for a living, you're screwed.
